Short version

Linaria keeps your data on your device. We don’t run ads and we don’t sell your data.

What we store on your device

Your food log, fullness entries, cravings, mood, practices and notes.
Your profile (name, goals, preferences), weight entries and progress photos.
Optional wellness journal entries (e.g. the GLP-1 journal) you choose to keep.
These are health-related data. They stay locally on your phone and are not uploaded to our servers; you can export or delete them anytime.

AI features (optional, with consent)

If you use Lina (the AI coach), the text or photo you choose to send is processed by a third-party AI provider to generate a reply. This happens only after you explicitly consent in the app, and only if you connect your own API key — requests then go directly to that provider on your account, under that provider’s privacy terms. You can withdraw consent at any time in Settings; the rest of the app keeps working without AI. We don’t store your conversations on our servers.

Apple Health / Health Connect (optional)

If you enable it, Linaria can read steps and read/write weight via Apple Health or Android Health Connect. This is strictly opt-in, processed on your device, and can be revoked anytime in Settings or in the system health app.

Diagnostics

To keep the app stable we collect anonymous crash reports and performance data (Sentry). They contain technical details about the failure, not your food log, conversations or photos. They are not used for advertising.

Purchases & codes

Subscriptions are handled by Apple App Store / Google Play (via RevenueCat). Promo codes are validated by our server using an anonymous app identifier; we store only whether your access is active — no personal profile or food data.

Notifications

Reminders are optional, off by default, and scheduled locally on your device.

What we don’t do

No advertising, ever.
No selling or sharing of personal data.
No tracking across other apps or websites.

Deleting your data & your rights

All personal data lives on your device: Settings → data reset erases it, and uninstalling the app removes everything. For the anonymous purchase identifier or any other request (access, deletion, GDPR questions), email us — we answer within 30 days.

Children

Linaria is not directed at children and is intended for users aged 16 and older.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date.

Who runs Linaria

Linaria is published and operated by GBO Eesti OÜ (Estonia) under licence from its author, Alexey Kurguz (aka Grusha). GBO Eesti OÜ is the data controller for the limited data described above.
